Many may know me from my work as the founder of San Diego Loves Green, founding Board Member of the Sustainability Alliance of Southern California, Adjunct Professor at SDSU, writer for San Diego Family Magazine or more recently the Publisher of a new media website for women TheMissStory.com. I have dedicated my life to educating, empowering, inspiring and challenging myself and others to get involved and make a difference in our country and the world.

I'm a 50 year old wife, mom, grandma, humanist, writer, survivor and believer in the power of the human spirit. I've also been deeply and personally affected by the very issues that we, the 99%, are concerned with, and I would be honored to have the opportunity to stand up for all those in my community and across this country who have been ignored, silenced and left out for far too long.

    Lance Paris

Born and raised in Southern California. I am committed progressive, business owner, and politically active in my community. I believe in the principles and goals of the 99 Declaration and OWS; it is time for those responsible to be held accountable. We must act to remove the influence of money in the electoral process, to overturn the Citizen United decision and end the wholesale corruption of our political system. I am outraged by the perversion of the Constitution and religion by the Reich-wing. It is not about greed and fear and hate. It is about doing something to help others. I believe we were a much better Country when we worried more about those less fortunate than we now worry about how much we can get for ourselves.

I have a BS in political science w/strong emphasis in renewable energy policy from Idaho State, but more importantly my most salient issue is getting the corrupt, destructive, obscene influence exerted by our economic system COMPLETELY out of our political system, using a constitutional amendment, one version of which I myself have authored. We also desperately need a 'worker's rights' amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
